BOARD OF DIRECTORS

CHAIRMAN
The Chairman of the Board is Simon T. Chiwaka. Simon Chiwaka is a holder of an MBA (Management of Business Administration with Caledonian Glasgow University Scotland).

He is also a director of CORBZIM (an Electric motor rewinding in Zimbabwe), Hawker Siddeley Transformers (South Africa), Hawker Siddeley Switchgear (South Africa) and Yemurai Properties (Zimbabwe). Simon held several senior positions in banking and manufacturing sector prior to his appointment as Managing Director in 1997. He is a seasoned businessman and his vision is to see South Wales Electric positioned as a leading transformer and switchgear
manufacturer and supplier in Africa

MANAGING DIRECTOR

The Managing Director is Dr. Silent Bopoto. He holds a Masters in Business Administration from Nottingham Business School, Certificate in Aviation Medicine from J-Sats, and a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery Degrees from the University of Zimbabwe. He also sits on the Board of Yemurai Zimbabwe (incorporating South Wales, Corbzim, Yemurai Properties, and Strathmore Estates). He has vast experience in the medical service industry, manufacturing and agriculture.
